Quality Precision Engineering
As evidence that quality precision engineering forms the cornerstone of the CTL mission statement, the company has in place well established Quality Assurance Procedures which are subject to regular quality precision engineering audits, both internal and by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, and are approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and Aerospace standard AS9100 rev. B
Customers are most welcome to audit our procedures to ensure we comply with their own quality precision engineering requirements.
We have experience of manufacturing for industries such as Nuclear, Oil, Aerospace, Automotive, Scientific Instruments, Mining, 3 Dimensional moulds, etc., and are therefore familiar with a wide variety of company standards. Individual quality plans can be configured to suit specific customer requirements. Confidentiality prevents naming our customers, needless to say we supply many leading manufacturers in their respective fields.
All our measuring instruments are subject to regular calibration and are traceable back to National Standards. We offer Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant Non Destructive Testing to ASNT Level II and PCN Level 2 qualification, Ultrasonic and Radiographic testing can be supplied on site from one of our approved vendors. Individual quality plans can be tailor made to suit specific customer requirements.
We have 2 CMM machines with the latest level of LK CAMIO software including Interactive Graphics Package & DMIS Engine. Our LK. G80 Co-ordinate Measuring Machines, have a measuring capability of 3.0 x 1.5 x 1.75 metres and the G90 machine is a new high speed and high accuracy CMM.2.0 x 1.2 x 1.0 metres. We not only use these machine to inspect our own in-house components, but offer a full Sub-Contract Inspection service.
As many customers require inspection reports from an independent source, and as this machine is one of the largest in the area, capacity is in great demand.
The machines is Laser Calibrated every 6 months and calibration reports are available for inspection. Customised inspection reports can be tailored to suit individual customer requirements to help with the analysis of the data obtained.
