2	Fatal Injury Death resulting from an accident directly related to the indivdual's work or employment
3	Lost Time Injury (LTI) Occupational injury leading to the injured person being unable to resume, or must be relieved of his/her normal duties in the next shift or subsequent shift(s). This also includes cases where the injury occurred on the last day of the working period.
4	Number of Lost Days Number of lost days dues to LTI's
5	LTI - Rate* Lost time injuries per million manhours (number of LTI's / exposure hours* 1,000,000)
6	Restricted Work Injury (RWI) Occupational injury leading to the injured person being unable to perform his/her normal tasks and therefore must be assigned to a job different to the one the person normally carries out
7	Medical Treatment Injury (MTI) Occupational injury that requires treatment or examination by a doctor, or where treatment is carried out unde rthe supervision of a doctor, such as minor surgery, stitching wounds or use of perscription medication. Simple treatment of wounds, eye baths and the like are not considered medical treatment, even if administered by a doctor
8	Reportable Occupational Illness Occupational illness or symptoms that the employer or health personnel suspect can be due to exposure, strains, harmful effects or other conditions at the workplace
9	Total Reportable Injuries (TRI) Facilities + LTI's+RWI's+MTI's+Reportable Occupational Illnesses
10	TRI - Rate Total reportable Injuries per million manhours (number of TRI's / Exposure hours* 1,000,000)
11	First-aid Incident Occupational injury that requires first aid treatment
12	Near Miss An Incident which under slightly different circumstances would have led to an accident to personnel, material or environment
13	Unsafe Act / Condition Act or condition which, under slightly different circumstances, could have caused injury, work related illness and / or damage to / loss of asset, or harm the environment or to a third party
14	RIDDOR Number of days since last Reporting of injuries, Dieseases and Dangerous Occurences Regulations raised
