Gun Drilling

 

All the Machining Centres are equipped to gun drill holes from 3m/m dia to 20m/m dia in all materials including Inconel & Titanium.

Holes above 20m/m dia are produced using either the Sandvic Ejector System, or the Sandvic BTA System on all of the Horizontal Borers.CTL has the capability to produce deep hole bores up to 150m/m dia to a depth of 4000m/m, in all materials.

 

Below is an Oil & Gas component with a length of 2700m/m with 15off 20m/m Dia Gun Drilled holes drilled through from both ends.
