CNC Machining Centre
We have a number of CNC Machining Centre for Horizontal and Vertical applications, ranging from a small Maho universal, through multi pallet CNC machines up to the Giddings & Lewis G40 RTX Production Centre featured within horizontal boring.
All CNC machines have access to a large range of tooling and 4 machines have Renishaw Probing.
2 CNC machines also have the facility to use Facing & Contouring heads from the toolchanger. The maximum workpiece size on the Multi-pallet machines is 1.5 x 1.2 x 1.0 metres with a maximum weight of approximately 3.0 tonnes.
2 x Giddings & Lewis Orion 2300 CNC Machining Centre
Machine One: is a six pallet CNC Machining Centre with KT-GEMINI-D control. 1000mm square pallets. X axis 1500mm; Y axis 1200mm; Z axis 1100mm with fourth full “B” axis Rotary table. 100 tool ATC. 45 hp Spindle Drive. This machine has 100 tool ATC and is complete with D'Andrea U180 Universal NC Facing and Boring head under full CNC control and in-process gauging. Maximum table loading capacity is 3.3 tons. High pressure thru’ tool coolant.
Orion CNC Machining Centre
Machine Two: is a twin pallet machine also with D’Andrea U180 contouring head and has traverses of; X axis 1300mm Y axis 1200mm Z axis 1100mm the control is Giddings & Lewis 8000b all other features are identical to the above machine.

Huller Hille Nbh 260 Twin Pallet Machining Centre
A very fast & powerful (60hp) machine with 5 axis Seimens Sinumeric 840c CNC control (X,Y,Z,B,U). 84 tool ATC; In process RENISHAW GAUGING; Adaptive spindle control; Fitted with D'Andrea U180 Universal NC Facing and Boring head under full CNC control; Through tool high pressure coolant; Z axis thermal compensation. Full rotary 'B' axis for helical and circular milling and positioning to a resolution of 0.001 degree. Two 800mm X 1000mm pallets give superb machine utilisation with minimal set-up time. Machining area 1400mm X-axis; 1150mm Y-axis; 1000mm Z-axis. 75 tool ATC.

Doosan Daewoo Ace H100 Machining Centre
The Doosan H100 is the largest machine in Europe to this specification with extended traverses in every axis, 100 ATC in-process tool measurement and monitoring, D’Andrea contouring head and Renishaw probing.
It has two 1M square pallets with a machining area of 2000mm X-axis, 1500mm Y-axis and 1250mm Z-axis

Maho MH 700C Universal Machining Centre
4 axis CNC control. This unusual machine can operate in both horizontal and vertical modes in the same program and set up. Essentially a machine for smaller high accuracy engineering, with a working envelope of 700mm x 500mm x 450mm. Complete with a fully programmable B axis for Helical milling and radial positioning to .001 degree resolution.
Wadkin WL 40 Vertical Milling and Boring Machine
Machining area 107" x 55". Table size 60" x 36" with built in power rotary milling and indexing. Completely reconditioned as new in 1990 and fitted with Heidenhain TNC 355 control.
