Production centre for heavy milling, precision boring, drilling and tapping, and two or three axis contouring operations. This extremely precise production centre features independent electronic servo drives, Infinitely variable speeds and feed headstock and 1220 x 1830 m/m air lift rotary table. Complete with CNC 8000B control and numeriprobe gauging system which allows for the probing of work piece features, and provides finished part inspection information.It is also capable of using CH16 and CH8 CNC contouring heads. Fitted with tool changeable Davis 8” CNC contouring head with the capability of taper boring and threading etc. 60 tool ATC, 4000 rpm spindle & high pressure coolant thro’ spindle system. Constant 35 hp AC drive. Machine is equipped with a Full CNC rotary table resolving to 0.001 degree for positioning & radial milling.
